SGA Home

None The Student Government Association (SGA)

represents the student body within and outside the university. Its basic functions are to promote campus life, further the interests of the student body, encourage students to develop leadership qualities, and function cooperatively with other constituent bodies to achieve the mission and purposed of the University.

is the only student operated governing body that serves as the liaison between the students and the administration. This organization is committed to promoting and supporting university efforts and educating the student body. The SGA seeks to maintain a spirit of cooperation in the activities of the University and to encourage student initiative through service, and providing quality intellectual and social events.

The slogan for the 2003 -2004 Student Government Association is “Embodying the Dream, Promoting the Legacy”.
