DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•   Directing the effort to achieve accreditation for the Bachelor of Social Work Program

•   Perform duties related to the functioning of the department and administration of the Social Work Program

•    Ability to use technology in instruction and student advising.

•   Teach social work courses if necessary

•   Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community agencies

•   Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

•   Expand the program where needed

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:

•   Education: Ph.D. in Social Work or closely related field

     •   Preferred Experience:
                o      Minimum of four years of teaching at the rank of assistant professor or

                     equivalent
                o      Demonstrated record of teaching ability and scholarly achievements
                o      Two years of post-MSW social work practice experience
                o      Prior experience in administration of a BSW program
                o      Participation in CSWE accreditation or reaffirmation self-study process
