Job Description:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach sociology and/or criminal justice courses.
Build on existing strengths in teaching, research, and service.
Manage, organize, and recruit faculty, staff, and students.
Conduct Program review and development.
Assign faculty responsibilities.
Advise and counsel students.
QUALIFYING FACTORS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
· Ability to teach sociology and/or criminal justice courses
· Ability to use technology in instruction and student advising
· Administrative experience preferred
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:
· Education: Ph.D. in Sociology or related field
· Preferred Experience: Significant academic experience is required.
