Job Description:
Serving as Liaison for New Student Orientation.
Providing rationale and recommendations for selection of testing instruments. Maintaining all testing materials (used and unused).
Maintaining ACT and SAT score reports.
Developing, coordinating, and maintaining a program that assists students in their preparation for graduate and professional school entrance examinations.
Scanning and maintaining of various scantron forms (e.g., Student Evaluation of Instructor and Instruction, and New Student Testing).
Coordinating and administering institutional surveys, as well as working collaboratively with other groups on campus who administer surveys (e.g., Student Relations Committee of University Senate, Office of Alumni Relations, Career Services Center, and Office of Admissions).
Providing assistance in the maintenance and organization of institutional report requests received by telephone, fax, and IRESEARCH e-mail account.
Working collaboratively with students, faculty and department chairpersons, and staff in all three divisions of the University.
General office responsibilities (e.g., photocopying, faxing, taking messages when necessary, distributing flyers across campus, ordering of supplies for the office).
Supervising student employees.
Maintaining and completing national enrollment surveys.
Utilizing Banner and the Data Warehouse for assessment input and queries.
Updating the Office of Assessment Home Page.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Assessment

Ability to assist in and actively make recommendations for the continual development of the Office of Assessment & Institutional Research
Ability to install/uninstall software and perform minor computer troubleshooting
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a Social Sciences discipline (Psychology, Sociology or Social Work)
Three or more years experience in higher education level setting
Working knowledge of Banner/Student Module
Working knowledge of scanners, SPSS, Microsoft (Access and Excel) and desktop publisher
