This is in accordance with recent guidelines from the U.S. Department of Education.

Please be advised that federal loans awarded for summer 2019 are based on remaining eligibility from the 2018-2019 academic year. You may be eligible for loan funds if you have not used all your loans based on the credits you have completed. Check on the status of your financial aid on MYCSU. To receive federal loans, you MUST be enrolled for at least six (6) credit hours.

NOTE: If it is determined that you are not making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) you will not have aid for the summer. You may be eligible to appeal, and if it is approved, we can verify if you have funds available.

Parent PLUS Loans may be available to dependent students. Parents must re-apply through www.studentloans.gov. The loan period for the Summer PLUS Loan is May - August 2019.
