Welcome! We are excited about helping you make a successful transition to Central State University.

Each year, the Office of Admissions hosts in-person and virtual Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR) events to introduce you to our programs and support services. The focus of this event is the College of Business.

What to expect

  • You will receive assistance with completing your SOAR checklist: housing application, course scheduling, financial aid requirements, setting up a payment plan, and more.
  • Members of the Financial Aid Department will share the most recent updates on the status of financial aid eligibility.
  • You will receive your class schedule, Marauder Card, and a free T-shirt.
  • Take part in a campus tour, learn about campus resources available to students, meet incoming freshmen, and more.
