Youth earning certificates from Central State University STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) summer camps and a group of herb enthusiasts exploring herbs of the apothecary in the Central State Seed to Bloom Botanical Garden were part of the mix that made a fun 2023 summer go by — so fast.

"One takeaway that I got from this camp is the opportunity and the ability to understand how kids learn and how kids adapt to a new environment," said Nathan Hart, a sophomore studying Music Education at Central State.

"Luck is when opportunity meets preparation, and this was that moment and time for them to see that moment of opportunity — they're lucky enough to have that opportunity here at Central State University," Hart added.
