CSU leaders meet with 1890 Foundation
Representatives from Central State University and the 1890 Foundation recently met in Washington, D.C., to discuss how the organizations can partner and advocate effectively for more public and private resources.
Central State's Interim President Alex Johnson and Dr. Morakinyo Kuti, vice president for Research and Economic Development and director of the 1890 Land-Grant Programs, joined the 1890 Foundation's Dr. Mortimer Neufville, president and CEO, and Dr. Antonio McLaren, vice president for programs.
The group discussed the importance of efficient use of resources and sharing the positive impacts of all Land-Grant programs with policymakers and other stakeholders. By doing so, 1890 institutions can ensure that these programs receive continuous support and ultimately make a significant difference in the lives of the people they serve.
