Mike White, defensive lineman for Central State University

Mike White, a defensive lineman for Central State University, was named the Defensive MVP following the Marauders' triumphant 21-10 win over Savannah State during Saturday's Homecoming Game.

After the post-game talk with the coach and team, White, a sophomore from nearby Springfield, rushed to present his prize to his mother, Rebekah Howard.
