Central State University Interim President Alex Johnson, CSU Board of Trustees chairperson Jacqueline Gamblin, administrators, and research professors presented the "HBCU Showcase Webinar: Investing in Central State University's Research Mission" on Nov. 16.
The virtual event was organized by the University Industry Development Partnership (UIDP). The CSU team had one hour to highlight the Institution’s food and agricultural research project efforts, the projected impact on the local community, and the greater agricultural research objectives.
Representatives from more than 50 corporations listened as the CSU team made the case for support of ongoing research and a new research and demonstration complex that includes a $40 million research center on the Central State campus in Wilberforce, Ohio.
