Marauder Athletics celebrates successful seasons in 2024

Central State University Athletics had an extraordinary 2024, with achievements spanning track and field, volleyball, football, basketball, and cross country. Key highlights included All-American honors for Amarianna Lofton, a stellar season for men's volleyball, and Willie Jackson joining Marauder history by scoring his 1,000th career point in basketball.

The summer brought exciting leadership changes under Athletics Director Kevicia Brown, who also earned national recognition for her work. Facility upgrades, increased social media engagement, and impactful community service projects further showcased the Marauders' commitment to excellence.

As 2025 begins, the Marauders are poised for even greater success, starting with thrilling basketball matchups and a marquee men’s volleyball game against USC on January 29th.
