Accounting
Students who major in Accounting can earn a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. A minimum GPA of 2.2 is required to graduate in this Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs-accredited program.
The Accounting curriculum offers basic knowledge and the skills necessary for successful careers in business, government, or public accounting. The courses seek to minimize the amount of on-the-job training and experience required to qualify for satisfactory levels of responsibility and remuneration. In addition, students completing the accounting curriculum acquire a valuable foundation to pursue graduate study. Computer-based instruction is an integral part of the curriculum.
