Marauder Momentum Summer Program

The Marauder Momentum Summer Program is a free program offered to high school graduates without college credit(s) that have a grade point average of 2.0 to 2.19. This program will assist students in preparation for gaining regular admission to Central State University upon successful completion of the program. The program is a five-week face-to-face residential experience taking place during the summer months, which will consist of two courses for a total of six credit hours and enrichment programs outside of the classroom that are designed to increase college readiness.

When can I apply to the Marauder Momentum Summer Program?
Applications are currently being accepted for the Marauder Momentum Summer Program.  Participants will receive official notification prior to acceptance into the program. Completion of the program will allow you to enroll in Central State University for the upcoming academic year.
 
What is the application deadline?
The application deadline is Friday, June 10, 2022.

Who can apply to participate in the Marauder Momentum Summer Program?  
High school graduates without college credit(s) that have a grade point average of 2.0 to 2.19 wishing to gain regular admission to Central State University. 

What is the time period for the Marauder Momentum Summer Program?
The Marauder Momentum Summer Program starts on Sunday, June 26, 2022 - Friday, July 29, 2022. 
 
Is there a  mandatory orientation session that I must attend to participate in the Marauder Momentum Summer Program?
Orientation is mandatory for program participation and will take in person on Sunday, June 26, 2022.  Students will meet with faculty and staff from the various departments at Central State University.  
 
Will I receive credit for these courses toward my CSU graduation? 
Students in the Marauder Momentum Summer Program will receive college credit for the courses they successfully complete with a passing grade.
 

What costs should I anticipate for the Marauder Momentum Summer Program?  
Central State University’s Marauder Momentum Summer Program is free.  There will be no cost to the participants in the program.
