Student exchange

Student exchange allows you to enroll for a semester or a year as a Marauder while you take classes and explore culture on the campus of an institution in formal partnership with Central State University. Your tuition, fees, and expenses are paid directly to the University, and studies follow a similar academic calendar at both institutions. Check again for new and exciting student exchange opportunities!

  • Students who engage in domestic exchange can discover the unique variety in the environments of their own backyard. The United States claims 11 distinct cultural designations, and boasts six of the seven major habitat biomes. Domestic exchange allows Central State University students to gain a better understanding of the broader experiences of life in our nation, and how the resources of each environment have shaped the distinctive communities of the United States of America.

  • Central State University partners with Year Program and Global UGrad to host foreign exchange students on campus. We are grateful for the opportunity to share the rich history and distinctive charm of our 1890s HBCU community. The University is, likewise, privileged for the opportunity to learn and better understand the wide world around us from our interactions with these students.

Simple exchanges can break walls down between us, for when people come together and speak to one another and share a common experience, then their common humanity is revealed.
