Welcome to Marauder Land

Now that you have been accepted to Central State University, make your Marauder status official.

Just follow these five simple steps:

  • We are thrilled that you are on your way to joining us at Central State, and we want you to secure your spot ASAP.

    The new student confirmation fee covers fees for incoming freshmen and transfer students.

    Residential

    • Orientation and matriculation fee: $105
    • Room key: $135*
    • Room reservation: $60*

    Non-residential/online

    • Orientation and matriculation fee: $105

    Steps to pay your new student fee(s)
    NOTE: Fees and deposits cannot be paid with financial aid funds and are non-refundable.

  • Central State University offers a number of scholarships and financial assistance packages to incoming freshmen and transfer students.

    To become eligible for institutional aid, University program scholarships, and government financial assistance, you must complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov.

    Priority deadline: Dec.1

    If you are required to submit additional documents, please do so immediately. Details on what to submit can be found on the Self-Service portal.

    To apply for the Federal PLUS Loan: studentloans.gov

    For verification: centralstate.verifymyfafsa.com/account/login

    You will receive a financial award letter within 14 business days after completing all financial assistance items and submitting your $105 new student confirmation fee.

  • Self-Service is located on the Student Portal, which is your access to information on admissions, financial assistance, registration, classes, and special events.

    The Student Portal also includes your official Central State student email account. Check your emails at least once a week for important updates. 

    With a Central State email address comes a variety of benefits, including discounted (and sometimes free) software, discounted subscriptions, and more.

    Remember, you received your login credentials in your acceptance letter.

  • Living on campus is an essential component of your university experience through enhanced learning performances and countless opportunities to meet new people and develop lasting friendships.

    Do not wait! Complete your housing application today and get connected to your fellow Marauders.

    If you have not already done so, submit your $195 housing fee ($60 room reservation fee and $135 room key fee), which is required to complete your application and room selection process.

    You will not have access to the housing application if you have not confirmed your admission by paying $105.

    All new student confirmation fees are non-refundable. You will not have access to see the housing application until 24 hours after you have paid your orientation and matriculation fee.

    The housing application can be completed on Self Service. Students who want to request each other as roommates will need to list each other on their housing applications.

    If you have any questions about your housing or meal plans, please contact the Office of Resident Life at residencelife@centralstate.edu or 937-376-6386.

  • Submit your current physical and a copy of your immunization record from your physician to Central State University.

    Please do not submit these items directly to the Central State Health and Wellness Center. Med+Proctor manages this process. Med+Proctor is a free online service, and you are not required to pay for Med+Proctor Pro. 

    How to submit your health records

    • Using your Central State University email address, register for your Med+Proctor account at medproctor.com.
    • Complete your Central State Med+Proctor profile.
    • Download and print your Central State Med+Proctor Immunization Certificate.
    • Have your medical provider complete your immunization certificate and a physical.
    • Upload an image of your immunization certificate and physical into your Med+Proctor account.

    Please check your Central State email once the file is loaded. You will receive your confirmation within five days.

    Save $1,600! If you have health insurance coverage through a parent or legal guardian, you must complete an online waiver form indicating your insurance information.

    To learn about the CSU Student Health Insurance Plan or to complete the insurance waiver (open from June to September), please visit www.wellfleetstudent.com.
