While Central State University researchers continue to mentor their students as the next generation of professionals in agriculture and science, the professors' work is being recognized in quarters. Dr. Mohammadreza Hadizadeh, associate professor of Physics and director of the Semiconductor Education & Research Program, and three students were recently featured in a national docuseries, "Innovation Unveiled: Into the Nano Realm." It was produced by WeHBSeeU TV, a digital streaming service.

"'Innovation Unveiled' is a docuseries dedicated to highlighting research and innovation at our nation's HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities)," WeHBSeeU TV notes in the synopsis. "In this episode, we learn about the varied aspects of nanoscience and how HBCU researchers and students are contributing to the cutting-edge aspects of nano from quantum physics to nanobiotechnology applications and microelectronics."

"This documentary highlights our research on quantum few-body systems and showcases our students’ summer research training in semiconductors under the Intel project," Dr. Hadizadeh said.
