Central State University Foundation Board contribution to support the purchase of band uniforms
Much-needed uniform updates coming to the Invincible Marching Marauders
Central State University is deeply grateful for the generous $85,000 gift from the Central State University Foundation as part of our Giving Tuesday initiative. This invaluable contribution will be used to purchase much-needed band uniforms that will significantly enhance the overall musical experience for the University’s exceptionally talented musicians in the Band Department.
“We are thrilled to support the Central State University Band Department with this significant donation,” said Dr. Derek Anderson, president of the Foundation Board of Trustees. “This contribution reflects our commitment to fostering a vibrant and enriching environment for our students, further enhancing the University’s standing in the realm of arts and culture.”
The Foundation Board’s unanimous approval of the resolution for the gift at its Oct. 25 meeting is a testament to the power of generosity and community. The Foundation expresses its heartfelt gratitude to all parties involved and looks forward to the transformative impact this donation will have on the Central State University Band Department.
