Dr. Jose U. Toledo, vice president for Research and Economic Development and director of 1890 Land-Grant Programs, is pleased to announce the permanent appointment of Dr. Alcinda Folck as the associate administrator for Central State University Extension, effective Oct. 1.
In a statement, Dr. Toledo said, “Upon my recommendation, President Kuti approved my request to appoint Dr. Folck in this permanent role.”
Toledo’s statement continued: “I have had an opportunity to assess Dr. Folck’s performance as an interim associate administrator upon my arrival at CSU in early August. During this assessment, Dr. Folck demonstrated the appropriate knowledge about the position and the capacity to lead the Extension programs and personnel. She also has the necessary experience, a deep understanding of Extension, a genuine desire to contribute to the well-being of our state’s constituents, and a great disposition to collaborate with me and other peers.”
“I'm excited about continuing to work with the excellent staff we have in CSU Extension,” Dr. Folck said. “We have educators providing high-quality programs for our target audiences and making positive impacts in communities throughout Ohio. Our focus in CSU Extension is empowering underserved, underrepresented populations to build sustainable communities and create legacies for future generations. CSU Extension is committed to engaging communities and transforming lives.”
