The League of Women Voters of Ohio (LWVO) recently announced a unique voter registration roadshow! From Sept. 3 to Oct. 7, LWVO is hitting the road in a brand new 19-foot Caravel Airstream trailer, embarking on a statewide tour to engage students at approximately 20 colleges and universities across Ohio.

The “Your Voice, Your Vote, Your Power” tour will make a stop at Central State University on Tuesday, Sept. 17, in the parking lot behind the University Student Center.

The roadshow aims to register thousands of students, ignite enthusiasm about the democratic process, and provide answers to questions on issues important to them. Each campus visit will feature music, snacks, prizes, and a range of nonpartisan voting information.

LWVO dedicated volunteers will be available to assist with voter registration, educate students on the significance of civic engagement, explain recent changes to voter ID laws, highlight important election dates, and offer information on becoming a poll worker.

This year's theme, "Your Voice, Your Vote, Your Power," underscores the transformative power of individual participation in democracy. By making their voices heard and casting their votes, students will shape decisions and policies that impact not only their futures but the future of generations to come.

About the League of Women Voters: The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization dedicated to encouraging informed and active participation in government, increasing understanding of major public policy issues, and influencing public policy through education and advocacy.
