University names new CSU Extension Family and Consumer Sciences program leader

Renita Porter has been named the new Central State University Extension Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) program leader, effective Dec. 1.
Her duties and responsibilities will include FCS program implementation throughout Ohio, plus managing a team of FCS and Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) educators and nutrition coordinators.
Porter has been with Central State University Extension since 2017 and has held positions including FCS educator and interim FCS program leader.
