These discussions provide an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to gain insight into Ohio’s government and engage in meaningful conversations about policy, leadership, and civic responsibility.

Join us for a conversation with Gov. DeWine as he shares insights into his role in state government and how his decisions impact Ohioans’ daily lives. This session includes a Q&A opportunity, allowing students to engage directly with the governor.

Ohio Sen. Willis Blackshear Jr.

Sen. Willis Blackshear Jr., a Dayton native, brings a community-driven perspective to Ohio politics. In this discussion, he will explore the workings of state government and how legislative processes affect Central State University. This event encourages open dialogue and diverse perspectives on governance.
